Message from our Pastor

Thank you for taking the time to visit the website of the Gatehouse Church, Franklin, Tennessee. We are an unconventional church experimenting with means for outreach and service to our community.

We are meeting at Act Too Players, 1113 Murfreesboro Road, Suite 119, Franklin, TN on Sunday morning at 10:00. We are in the shopping center behind the Chop House Restaurant on highway 96 in Franklin, Tennessee, a little south of Nashville.

The Easter worship program is entirely musical with several special music presentations. I pray that you will enjoy the program. The Lord is Risen, indeed!

These are condensed versions of our church service. I’ve added a few examples of our special music. We had a comment the these were appreciated. There are a number of different styles here and all are wonderful, inspired and inspiring. I pray you will enjoy them.

A few days ago we had a storm roll though and as it moved off there was a bright double rainbow in the sky. It only lasted a few minutes and was an impressive and beautiful sight.

We are now into July, which has been unusually wet but not cool. The blueberries are still producing, but in lesser quantity. Tomatoes are becoming plentirul and I have lots of peppers, zucchini squash, cucumbers and some pole beans. The pole beans are so thick that the trellis that holds them up has failed in some locations and I’ve had to shore it up. Fresh vegetables are a wonderful blessing.

I pray you are safe to enjoy God’s world. As always, the natural world remains a constant reminder of God’s goodness to us.
